Wildflower ideas for a wedding in Ravello

Wildflowers are getting a lot of requests and could be in line to be a big trend for 2014. Personally I love small vases full of pretty delicate flowers and here in Italy during the spring and summer months in the mountains the countryside is bursting with colour.

What a beautiful day for a white wedding! Kris Marshall married his long-term fiancée Hannah Dodkin in a romantic snow-filled ceremony in Somerset on Saturday afternoon

As Europe gets covered in a blanket of snow and Ice, the canals of Venice have frozen and Rome has snow for the first time in decades, couples who planned a February wedding suddenly found there day transformed in to a magical winter wonderland!

Rich lush Reds...

While I think every colour scheme works 12 months of the year there is something very lush and cosy about richer deep colours. Velvet red roses make me think of Christmas and deep reds and oranges of Autumn...

White bridal bouquet... Timeless!

White bouquets!

Traditionally a brides wedding bouquet is made up of white or cream flowers. Incorporating roses, lilies, gardenias and orchids. Hand held bouquets are as popular as ever. This style is timeless and romantic, works well with every dress style and looks very elegant.

WEDDING FLOWERS INSPIRATION BY AMBER

Amber our July bride's blog on the run up to her wedding:

The Bridal Bouquet
With so many beautiful flowers to choose from, where do I start?
Well, after having seen 'Black Swan', I have become ever so slightly obsessed with everything symbolic of the ballet. So it seems apt that I choose flowers inspired by my most current love and obsession, the ballet.
