Venue of the month - February!

Last week I was in Florence looking at venues, some for the first time and others old friends! But this venue was so breathtakingly beautiful, knocking spots off of all the other 5 star villas in Florence it ticked all the boxes, making it February's venue of the month! 

Its Leap day!

Today is the 29th February 2012 and i am a great believer of keeping traditions alive. Now if my research is correct the tradition of a lady proposing to a man on the 29th February started in Ireland! It is said that a man who refuses the proposal on leap day must buy here a gift as an apology. I even like the guideline for this gift, it should be 12 pairs of gloves...

As Europe gets covered in a blanket of snow and Ice, the canals of Venice have frozen and Rome has snow for the first time in decades, couples who planned a February wedding suddenly found there day transformed in to a magical winter wonderland!

Jenny Packham is the latest designer to collaborate with the high street, choosing Debenhams to stock her diffusion collection. The occasions wear line will feature 19 dresses and accessories, which will launch in batches starting this April and then later this summer.
