These were the words I muttered this evening whilst talking to a friend and how true they are. What happens if you are not a bride who looks good in a white dress or are a bride who can't find a white dress that looks good on her?

Choosing the dress can set the theme for the whole wedding and we tend to go in with a pretty good idea of what we like and leave with a dress totally different but when you put it on... It felt perfect! Let's take a look at what will inspire future brides! 2014 is going to be a riot of colour, pink wedding dresses made a statement in last weeks fall wedding show, from the palest hint  to rich deep pinks but they were not the only colours on show, gold is also shining through! Lace and vintage especially 1930s Hollywood glamour will still be going strong next year and texture is also going to be big. Sleeves and straps are making a welcome appearance and we have also seen separates and trousers. One very strong theme is detail, be it layers or lace over lays, the designers have excelled in the fall shows with some of the most breathtaking details!
