Tomorrow is the start of the Chianti Classico Wine Festival held in Greve-in-Chianti, in the heart of the cypress-lined rolling countryside. Indulge in the flowing nectar of Chianti, meet the local producers who are real characters, taste the typical Chianti cuisine, sway along to the live music and enjoy all of the many different aspects to this festival. We recommend you book somewhere locally to stay of arrange for a taxi to take you if you plan to partake and sample some of the finest Chianti on offer!

The Greve festival is held every year on the second weekend of September and the following Thursday and Friday. (8th to the 11th September 2011) The festival starts on Thursday at 5pm and on Friday and the weekend at 11am closing around 8pm.
