I am delighted to share with you the wedding of Katie and Ben, Katie worked for The Italian Wedding Planner a few years ago and Stacey who has been working for us this summer went home to be the onsite coordinator on Katie's very special day!
I know Katie would have loved to have hosted her wedding in Italy but unfortunately as her grandparents are very elderly they felt the trip from Wisconsin would be too much for them and she could not imagine getting married without their presence!
So Katie brought a little Italian inspiration to her vintage wedding and created a beautiful infusion of both styles! As these wonderful photographs by the talented Anda Marie showcase.
Both Katie and her mum have spent the last two years searching antique markets and websites for vintage finds like the apple creates. But the items I think are moss special are the the tablecloths and glass jars that were once her Great Grandma’s, salvaged years ago from her attic by Katie's mother. I am also delighted that they also tried to incorporate items from the orchard, like the raspberries in the lemonade or the various fruits in the jam favours.
Miller their dog almost stole the show as the ring bearer but Katie was the star, looking so beautiful in her pink wedding dress this day that is uniquely Katie!
Wonderful long tables, very Italian family style dinning!
Congratulations Katie and Ben!!!
