Wedding invitations are sliding through the letter boxes, now the wedding guests start to ponder on that very important dilemma.... What does a wedding guest wear to a wedding in Italy?

Italy goes hand in hand with style, flirting and gelato! What to wear to a friends very special day in the homeland of Prada and Gucci umm no pressure!! So lets see how we might be able to give you some help.

In 2012 we will still see more of the maxi dress, the one shoulder drape dresses and strapless dresses plus thanks to Angelina's leg, we shall be seeing lots of thigh high splits. This year there will be a mix of colours from the subtle tones to the bright almost glow in the dark!

Just remember the rules:

Church weddings - Bring with you a shawl for your shoulders if they are bare.

Don't wear a very short skirt.

My pet hate: Don't wear a strapless dress or any dress/ top that shows your tan lines. Remember sun screen especially on the day of the wedding!

Other than the above, everything else goes, just don't upstage the bride!
