A Behind the Scenes Look at a Wedding Setup
A friend is getting married this May in the UK. There is a wedding
coordinator at the venue, so she thought everything would be taken care of. She has found out the hard way that there is WAY more
to do than she thought and that the in house wedding planner is only looking after the aspects concerning the venue. With only a few weeks to go until her wedding day, she is in a bit of a pickle... But the big worry is who is going to 'setup' her day??

Lake Como: The celebrities' Italian paradise
George
Clooney, Madonna, Donatella Versace and Sir Richard
Branson all own or have owned villas on northern Italy's
idyllic Lake Como. Surrounded by roaming mountains that are dotted with
tiny pretty villages and offering breathtaking panoramic views, it's no wonder
this 28 mile-long, Y-shaped lake in Lombardy has always served as a tranquil
paradise for the rich and famous.

10 sets of Bridal Underwear that will thrill and delight!
Snow queen When I am asked for advice on bridal underwear I often talk about the importance of making sure it fits right and you can not see it through the fabric etc but what I want to shout is: "Go and grab the dearest, sexiest, most alluring items of Bridal Lingerie you can afford!" Trust me, you won’t regret it. I’m not talking about the pleasure your Hubby will get from seeing you in it, I'm talking about the pleasure you will get out of wearing it! |

Short wedding dresses have long been a favourite of mine. They have charm, are fun, can be sassy or sweet, whilst still being bridal! They are also perfect for brides who feel more comfortable in a dress that is not too 'full on bride!' Here are my top 5 from the Spring 2014 collections.

Every little detail...
I adore it when a good photographer takes your rings and has some fun with them... But even if you have a great photographer, sometimes you need to give them some props!

Pillow Present...
Have you ever noticed
at the end of a wedding how many favors are forgotten on the table? Normally I
collect them all up and as nearly all the guests are staying at the same venue,
I make a display in the breakfast room where guests can pick one up.
With destination weddings
there is a growing trend for the ''Pillow Present''. This can be in the form of
a welcome basket or while you and your guests enjoy the celebrations, the hotel
or villa will place the favor on your guests pillow or door handle...
Here are our top tips for a destination
wedding welcome bags and pillow presents!

Lovely lace ideas!
I just adore lace. Such a pretty material that can transform your wedding in to something spectacular! Perfect if you are going for a vintage look, but equally versatile if used correctly in a modern setting...

The recovery lunch!
With destination weddings they tend to run over 3 or 4 days. There is the welcome cocktail party, the wedding and the recovery lunch before everyone departs. If your venue has the space how about an Italian style picnic! Stations of different local food set up, the BBQ grill going and a flow of local wine! Make for a very happy relaxing afternoon!

Lake Maggiore!
There is something about Lake Maggiore... Most people look at Lake Como or Lake Garda for their wedding and forget about the other lakes, myself included, that is until I went to visit. Lake Maggiore was not a lake I had really thought about, then one day I had to collect my sister from the Malpensa airport. I was a little early and decided to drive the 25 minuets to check out the lake, enjoy the cool breeze and spectacular views. Since then I have had the joy of discovering amazing locations, villas, castles and eateries.
One of the key elements we get asked for a lot, is a location close to an airport. Lake Maggiore is so close to the international airport that that is the first appeal, the second is the outstanding beauty making it perfect for your Italian lake wedding.

One Bride, One Groom, will travel! Part Two...
Sara and her mother walked from Villa Cipriani to the stunning town hall of Asolo where Jason, her Groom, was waiting for her. I can not do the description justice with my writing, after all I am a wedding planner not a novelist, but there is a moment when the groom sees his bride for the first time and it is as if there is no one else in the room....
