It is no secret that I adore Jenny Packham wedding dresses, I think take every opportunity to wear one of her designs! Obviously I am not alone and last night at the Oscar parties Emma Roberts and Ashley Tisdale looked amazing dressed in Jenny Packham.

What is REAL?
I have organised a fair few weddings and it is so hard to decide which one moved me the most. Was it the wedding in the secret garden where the bride wore her great grandmothers wedding dress or the wedding where the groom could not stop crying (mentioning no names!)...

A wedding under the Tuscan sun!
Loro Ciuffenna is not one of the main towns or villages that come to mind when you think of Tuscany. However what is so great about this town is it is real, not just for tourists but a place where the locals sip spritz in the late afternoon sun and Paulo shouts at Max across the road about the football... The rest of the town is peaceful and sleepy!

Vintage wedding in Siena
Lorna and Steve chose the fabulous setting of Siena for their wedding day. This wedding was filled with countless gorgeous details, from the very personal ceremony in the historic town hall of Siena, to the vintage glass vases filled with beautiful floral arrangements in the marquee, the whole day was magical. It was a truly fabulous wedding that will be remembered for years to come.

Dressing Your Wedding Venue in Italy!
With views like this one over Amalfi, you do not need to do much to dress your venue! |
Italians keep things very simple and the industry for event dressing is in its infancy compared to the UK, so it makes it a little more interesting when a bride asks for an Indian Marquee or a casino, but sometimes even the simplest request can become a challenge...

Shoes fit for a Princess
Ahh it is bridal fever and the questions are still open. Who is designing Kate Middleton's bridal shoes when she marries her prince this year?
If we could vote we would vote for Emmy.
Here at The Italian Wedding Planner we have a bit of a soft spot for Jenny Packham dresses, who has teamed up with Emmy. The collaboration of Emmy and Jenny Packham represents the natural synergy between the two designers, renowned for their glamorous vintage-inspired style and unique approach to embellishment.

Grooming the Groom!
“Never outshine the master”. Words to live by, especially when it comes to your wedding. Yes, the Bride-to-Be is the “master”. The Bride is the focus, center of attention, and the one everybody stares at when you’re both walking down the aisle. This is her special day, but every Queen needs a King. It’s time for a crash course in looking like you belong on that throne. We’ll tell you everything you need to know about looking your very best without looking like you spent more time then the Bride-to-Be.
Bring On The Boys!
Daniel Craig |
More often than not the Groom can get overlooked during the build up to the wedding day as the focus is heavily put on the bride. When it comes to the style of your wedding what the groom and groomsmen wear is a very important decision and will reflect on the style of your day. So lets give the groom some attention!

Wedding in Tuscany: Laura and Chris
Depending on your religion or type of additional ceremony you would like to celebrate your marriage, you may have to get married in the town hall before your church or symbolic ceremony.
Laura and Chris hosted their wedding in Tuscany, celebrated with two ceremonies, giving the bride a wonderful opportunity for two beautiful wedding dresses (one she made herself!!) before a fabulous reception at Il Borro.

Wedding dress that flatters big boobs!
Girls with naturally big boobs come in many shapes and sizes, not all of you are plus sized! Some of you ladies will have the perfect hour glass shape, others will be a bit more curvy, others will be skinny with big boobs! What we all have in common is the nightmare of finding a bra that fits, dresses that don't look like maternity smocks, strapless that can support the weight of your boobs and dresses that hide your bra straps oh and let us not forget keeping a level of decorum and not showing a mile of cleavage!

High-Tech Treasure Hunt in a Beautiful Italian City...
I am sitting here web dreaming and I stumbled across a web site that is infused with life and fun. Suddenly I realised why it is familiar, it is the company owned by an old friend, who also very kindly designed my web site for me. Being nosy and with admiration at the hard work and energy of this company I looked at one of the projects H-farm have given life to and want to share it here with you because it is just so much fun!
