As it is the week of Halloween and Guy Falwkes celebrations, I decided to share something sweet to kick off the week! Not only a great idea for a wedding but also a fun thing to make on Guy Falwkes night as you huddle by the bonfire!

Fashion inspiration for a city chic bride.
As soon as I saw this stunning Chanel dress worn by Rachael Taylor at the 2011 Victoria Derby day in Melbourne, I thought add the right accessories and it is perfect for a style savvy bride!

Amalfi and her marvellous coast.
The Amalfi Coast, what can I say that has not been said already about this gem of an area? Maybe words can never express the beauty, so imagine my delight when I came across this you tube video.

London Taxi in Italy
I do have a bit of soft spot for old cars, ever since my father came home with a bright red MG midget my love for cute soft tops sports cars began. I never in a billion years thought I would end up the proud owner of a vintage London taxi!

Symbol of eternity
Paolo Marziali Arezzo, The wedding ring, the most instantly recognisable symbol of the joining of a man and a woman as husband and wife has been traced back to North Africa and the ancient Egyptians. But while the shape being of course a circle and the symbol of eternity, it was the Italians who over time changed the ring in to the wedding ring we know recognise today. |

Something uniquely Italian
If you are getting married in Italy, you might be thinking of a fun way to include something uniquely Italian in your wedding day. After all you are getting married in Italy!
There are many icons of Italy from the coliseum to gelato and right up there at the top of that list, the original Fiat 500. Slightly quirky, the vintage Fiat 500 is an unique Italian car, with a huge personality and lots of charm.
She never fails to bring a smile to wedding guests and passing locals!

Very fond memories!
As I prepare to launch our new web site, we have asked all the wonderful photographers to send over some of the photographs from weddings we have worked together on over the years. Today I received a batch of photos from Edoardo Agresti and was transported back to Megan's wedding, which was such a wonderful wedding, it has brought back very fond memories!

Romantic Tuscan wedding....
This evening I received a package from the talented David Bastianoni, with the raw photos of Jennifer and Ally's Wedding in Tuscany last month.
Jennifer looked beautiful and they both looked so very happy. I cannot wait to see the post production photos, but for now enjoy this great photo preview of Jennifer and Ally's civil wedding in Italy!

To wedge or not to wedge...
Kimberley Ivory Satin Peep Toe Wedge by Aruna Seth |
I was going to write a blog on the question are wedges glamourise enough for a bride? While we all look lovingly at the Gina sandal and the delicate Jimmy Choo's but do we look lovingly at the Wedge? When I found Aruna Seths lovely designs!

Rich lush Reds...
While I think every colour scheme works 12 months of the year there is something very lush and cosy about richer deep colours. Velvet red roses make me think of Christmas and deep reds and oranges of Autumn...
