I know this is from Christian Dior's 2010 fall collection but as soon as I saw it I thought how it is a perfect dress for a wedding on the the Amalfi coast! It is such a beautiful gown and with its blue floral underskirt it is a wonderful take on 'something blue'.

Yesterday Elena De Angellis brought out the village of  Casal di Princice to cheer her on to her church wedding and to see her wedding dress...

Green is one of my favourite colours, be it crisp white linens on tables set on a green lawn or a tease of green with green bridal shoes, there is just something very fresh and calming about this lovely colour.  Last week I did get a little carried away with olive green when I decided to paint my entrance hall by myself.
