Is Sarah Burton Kate Middleton's dress designer???

As the day of the Royal wedding is fast approaching the speculation over who is designing Kate Middleton's wedding dress is mounting!
Apparently the editor of Vogue is rumoured to have recommended Sarah Burton  to Kate Middleton
as the designer she should chose to design THE wedding dress.
The views of Alexandra Shulman, editor of the magazine's British edition, were canvassed by Buckingham Palace, which inquired on behalf of Prince William's fiancee, it was claimed.
Speculation increased over the weekend about who has won the coveted commission to create the bridal gown after it was reported that Sarah Burton, creative director of Alexander McQueen, had been chosen by Miss Middleton.
The Daily Telegraph reported today that Miss Shulman had been contacted, along with a number of other fashion editors, by the Palace and recommended Burton.
The designer already has a connection with the Royal Family as she created a wedding dress for the Duchess of Cornwall's daughter-in-law.

Camilla's son Tom Parker Bowles wed wife Sara in 2005 and she walked down the aisle in an off-the-shoulder gown complete with a train.

Burton also created a red dress worn by Michelle Obama, the wife of US president Barack Obama.

A spokeswoman for Vogue declined to comment.

Whether or not there is any truth to the rumours, the dress designer would be bound to secrecy by Buckingham Palace, so we are still unlikely to find out until April 29.

Regardless, Miss Middleton is already winning high praise from the fashion industry for her speculated choice.
